Conceptually, I was inspired by two images to create this painting composed with artificial intelligence. The first was a black-and-white photograph of the interior of the estate located at 30 Rue de la Pépinière in Brussels, Belgium, where Marcel Broodthaers «inaugurated» his fictional museum, the «Musée d’Art Moderne, Les Aigles, Section XIXe Siècle» in 1968. This artistic installation consisted of a group of empty art transport boxes that served as screens for slide projections and postcards of 19th-century French artworks taped to the wall. The second image was a work by Broodthaers in the shape of an arrow, indicating the direction of the «Section Cinéma» of his museum, along with its opening hours. From a formal perspective, I drew vague inspiration from the atmosphere and light treatment in the interior paintings of Spanish artist Antonio López, opting for a more simplified approach with fewer details.
